AirToAir Readyby Opus Leads

Air-to-air is coming into MCS. Be ready the day it opens.

For heat pump and air-conditioning installers. Homeowners in England and Wales can already get £2,500 off an air-to-air heat pump through the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), but only through an installer certified by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS). Nobody is certified yet. This is the free hub for the firms that will be first.

What MCS has confirmed so far

The standards are written and the scheme is approved. The bottleneck now is certification bodies gaining accreditation, and installers having the right people in place.
